The crowd is getting their hair-and a give-away!

I am using mohair and fabric glue to give them their hair. I had to look it up on the Internet about how to do it. I was using white tacky glue and it was a mess, and showed up on dark hair. I LOVE the fabric glue, but I am very clumsy with the shorter mohair, which is all I have right now. Flax works very well too.
The color is not right in these photos-I didn't adjust the pictures before I posted them.

The last four photos show my give-away. I made some ladies on pendants out of paperclay, and made little wires for the cord to go through. The wires are all the way inside the paperclay, so they will not pull out.
Give-away number 1:
I am very attracted to packaging, so I made my own using my computer and photos I took. I printed out little labels using PicMonkey to design them, and then Photoshop to print them. I really like PicMonkey-it's easy and it works very well. I'm happy with my little labels, and I have plans for other things using my business name and some things I make. The little box is simply a matchbox emptied of its matches, covered over with newspaper, then my label. I painted the inside of the box. Eventually, more will make their way to my Etsy shop for sale there.

The necklace cord is hemp, and it's about 40 inches long and can be shortened by simply untying the knot. I have sealed my painting with a glossy stuff on both sides, and signed the back.
Give-away number 2:
The bee pin and crow necklace pendant go with this give-away. The pin is about an inch and a quarter I think. The crow pendant hangs from a 40 inch hemp cord.
Give-away number 3:
The three things-lady necklace, Bee pin and crow pendant all go together in this give-away, all made by me.

Please leave a comment here if you'd like to enter the give-away! I will have the drawing September 23rd.
Thank you for stopping by!

I just discovered your blog and love your dolls with great hair!! The prizes are nice. Tacky glue can be messy. I sew and do basting with a fabric glue stick called Lapel Stick. Keep creating.
