Painting every day....

Day one was yesterday-this was my goose Cornelius. I photographed it in a hurry, so it's not cropped the right way. I'm going to work toward that 10,000 hours to become a better artist.....

Debra,
I like your attitude. And I think I will try the same.

Oh my, I love this painting, Debra! I also love that it's small, how long did it take? You may inspire me to start painting again. :)

Oh, I admire your willingness to devote the time to practice and set the 10,000 hour goal! Was it Malcolm Gladwell that gave that figure? It's funny because just yesterday I was chastising myself for being unwilling to devote time to practice drawing and water color. I know that it takes hours of practice, but seem unwilling to dedicate the time.

Cornelius is certainly a charming goose!

I'm going to love seeing your "practice" art! What better subject for your first. He is quite handsome. If there is a talent that I covet, it would be the art of drawing. Stick figures are MY speed. lol.

I LOVE it. Keep painting. Daily practice is good, even if you only draw a couple of lines.

Awesome painting friend. You can feel the love and passion for your adored Cornelius. The stripes in the background are just perfect for his sweet face. Hugs!
