I've felt a twinge of regret for the previous post since I hit the 'publish' button. Seems like I need a few lessons in self control. If I needed to get that junk out-write it out in my journal. But Noooooo, I gotta let the whole world know just how much of an idiot I am!!!
Once I read a book about blogging and it said to keep your posts free of strong opinions, don't offend any one, etc.
Well-guess I blustered that rule...
Ugggg
I'll just go on my merry way and learn from it-I hope,
and ask my readers' forgiveness. I won't remove the post-I can't hide the not perfect parts of me anyway-so here I am-
:)

I know that twinge you felt, Debra, but don't be so hard on yourself. No apology required. Don't know what book you read about blogging, but there really are no rules. A person can use their blog in any way they want, and it's not wrong or right. But we can learn something, and I think you have learned a lot about yourself. You are more comfortable not ruffling any feathers. I know because I'm like that too!

Now now, I think your last post with the strong observation is great reading. Folks need to know those things to learn how not to turn off the audience.

Gosh, I would hope that post would not offend ANYone. Personally, I don't mind a strong opinion once in a while. The blogs I like to visit the most are those who's author express there opinions about things...as long as politics is not one of them. Express your thoughts and let us give you a little feedback about them. This is a wonderful place to visit. You didn't need to apologize to me!

Hey, sometimes you just gotta 'let it all out'! That person would have offended me too *smile*. Meanwhile think of all the 'artists' who don't even consider themselves artists but are just 'doing' what they love and don't try to boost themselves up over others. Sometimes a person just has to vent and you know you've got sympathetic eyes and ears out here.

Oh my Debra - we all say and do things we wish we could take back. This is one of the reasons I keep politics and religion off my blog - to help me keep my foot out of my mouth. I always worry about saying the wrong thing and offending anyone. Not, that I'm saying you had your foot in your mouth. I didn't feel that way at all. I actually love that your passion was showing and that you felt as strongly as you do. I get it. Besides, it is your blog, your space and it is beautiful just like you. I'm glad you didn't take the post down. Thank you for sharing your art and your soul. xo kim

Dear Debra - you certainly don't need to apologize for sharing something that upset you. It is refreshing for each of us at times to sincerely express our opinions. That is why I enjoy your friendship and visiting you. I am so glad you are honest which seems to be a trait that is harder to find these days. Keep on being true to yourself dearest. Love Ya!

Oh, LOL......don't be hard on yourself. Everyone has opinions and their own take on how things appear. By the way.........that painting is absolutely beautiful!
