If You Are A Goose...

and you will stand on one foot....
I posted this on my Sparrowgrass blog a few years ago. I have 2 geese now, but they still do the same goose things. They make me very happy.

Your post brought a huge smile to my face. Yesterday we passed over the bridge near my home that spans the St. Joseph River. Two swans were in the middle of the river. One had her beautiful wings spread fully out and seemed to be floating on the water. It was the first time I had ever seen that. Just a bird observation that I thought I'd share. I'm a bird watcher!

Perfect time of year, lots of geese about on their way south on these parts.

Dear Debra - But of course I love this post. Oh so charming. I've been wishing you would share some goose stories and just like that my wish came true. Also, been looking through the poultry catalog and pouring over all the ducks and geese, not that I need to add more to our responsibilities, but oh how I would love to have a few ducks and geese... Thank you, my friend,, a lovely post. xo kim
